just coincidence?maybe..maybe not..

CINDY JACOBS

@COSTA RICA
A few years ago, she spoke at an evangelistic rally in a stadium in Costa Rica, and as she was walking away from the platform, she happened to glance at a sickly-looking man in the audience who had plainly had a stroke.
A fleeting thought flashed through her head that she should turn back and tell him that he was going to be the next president of Costa Rica. But she immediately shrugged that off as a wild idea, a product of her own imagination.
A short moment later, however, the thought returned – even stronger – as from the Lord. Her response was an unspoken prayer: "God, there is no way I am going to prophesy that man is going to be president! He looks so sick that he could die at any moment." And she kept walking.
But just a few steps later, the thought became a clear voice in her spirit: "Cindy Jacobs, you turn around and go tell that man that it is My will for him to be the next president of this country!"
By that time, she was more afraid of dissing God than being ridiculed for a false prophecy, so she spun around and called out to him, "The Lord says that if you remain humble, you will be the next president of Costa Rica, and God will use you to expose corruption in this land."
The astonishing encounter was over. She was heartened to note a kindly look in the man's eyes, and her hosts told her the man's name, Abel Pacheco. Cindy filed the incident away in her mind as one of her thousands of dangling prophecies and returned home.
Two years later, her ceaseless travels brought her back to Costa Rica to speak at a conference. As the busy days were ending in the usual blur, her phone rang. It was a local friend saying, "The president of Costa Rica would like to meet with you."
Cindy replied, "Who is the president?"
The friend answered, "Abel Pacheco, the man you prophesied would be the next president!"

@SOUTH KOREA
Cindy prophesied two years ago that Seoul Mayor, Lee Myung-bak, would be South Korea's next president. The presidential election that occurred Wednesday, December 19, 2007, fulfilled this prophecy as Mayor Lee Myung-bak won the landslide election by receiving almost half of the cast votes. Lee Myung-bak will be inaugurated on February 25, 2008.

A prophet is known to be true if what they say comes to pass (this is scripture).

Be Involved

We shud reject the streotype and accept all candidate equally unless proven otherwise..be objective, remove the stigma, open our minds to the possibilities and create an intellect decision..after all, a righteous government never witnessed before is all we want.

I don't know how to write a blog in an interesting way where people will try to read it in a manner where every word will be digested, weighed and will not be prejudged. But in any case, I would like to voice out what's in my mind.

I would admit that I'm a JIl member, and I look up to Bro. Eddie as our spiritual director. In 2004, when he runs for presidency, I supported him with all my heart. Believing that he'll be able to win the election with a miracle from God. I prayed hard, and testified for him to other people. I even went to his proclamation rally at Luneta grand stand. But, after all those efforts, he landed last in that election. And so I asked God why He let Bro. Eddie run if it was "not" His will. But maybe it is really His will after all.

A few months ago, as the election fast approaches, I was hearing a lot of humors that Bro. Eddie will run second time around, and my first reaction was "ha?wag na lang!". I don't want him to run for the fear that he might lose again. The media was not taking his candidacy seriously. He was not even included in polls/surveys during that time. I don't want him to run, period.

And I can't remember the exact moment that I've returned my head 180 degrees back to wanting him, Bro. Eddie Villanueva, to run again for presidency. But that moemnt is not significant, the reasons, my reasons are.

We are facing a lot of problems in our country, from unemployment to poverty, from covetousness to corruption, from selfish leaders to self-centered politicians. All of these boil down to one problem. A problem that we have to resolve first. We have to know the underlying etiology of the disease so we can treat it directly and not just its signs and symptoms. We have to resolve it first. What we really need is a righteous government, and so I'll vote for Bro. Eddie.

Wala ka pang natitikman sa lahat ng yan, wla k rin nmng gustong gustong flavor at the moment so you decided to look for the content of each drink. Lahat sila ay very promising, punong puno ng vitamins and minerals and can really quenched your thirst. So pano na, ano n ang bibilhin mo?what i suggest is you look at the manufacturer and see kung cnong manufacturer yung pinakareliable.

well, mejo magulo ung story ko pro ito lang yung point ko. All the candidates are giving us their platforms. Giving us promises that they'll serve to quench the thirst of this nation from poverty and corruption. But we'll not be able to see all this unless they are already in their position, so how can we be so sure that they'll do what they are speaking now? We have to look to whom they are really serving?Because Bro. Eddie is serving a God who has a great plan for this country. He is not accountable to anyone but only to God. Walang xang utang na loob sa mga businessmen, Drug lords, powerful people at sa kung sino man. He is accounted only to God. And we all agree that if there is a reliable manufacturer, it would be God. "This world is too poor to buy my convictions and principles", strong words from a heart who is accountable to God.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

For Christians:
I'm voting for Bro. Eddie because the very reason why he will run is to obey God. "Kahit manalo man ako o matalo, ang importante sakin ay nasunod ko ang kalooban ng Diyos"-ECV. Sa totoo lng, kung iisipin natin, he is already in his comfort zone. Siya ang spiritual director ng JIL, he has a loving family, he is blessed with wealth tapos some politicians will come to him pa for support, prayer etc. eh bakit papasok pa xa sa napakaduming sistema ng politika ng Pilipinas?because He love God that much, and with love comes obedience. There’s nothing impossible with God, alm na natin yan, lagi nting kino-quote pero yan nga ba tlga ung narrmdman natin?this is a question I asked myself before, and u shud ask urself too. God won’t bring us to a situation where He will leave us, and so I believe that wherever Bro. Eddie will be, God will be with Him. Let us not stop praying that the plans of the Lord won't be delayed this time. I'm excited, very excited to see this nation rise from the bondage of poverty and deceit of corruption. Kaya mga brods and sises, if you think what Bro. eddie is doing right now is against the will of the Lord, pray hard and let God be the one to make you see the truth and righteousness. If you’re not yet decided who to vote, again, search and pray, and I’m sure God will make you see, what others can't.

For non-Christians:
It's just right and proper to endorse a candidate base on his credibility in the position he is running and being a born-again by title is not a point to be taken as a positive asset in presidency especially for those who doesn't believe in the existence of God.
When bro.eddie refer to his government as being "righteuos", he was trying to impose himself as a moral person who will prioritize God(not religion) and the welfare of the Filipino people.

“I think what he means by this is “righteousness” as a state of being of a person. Henceforth, he appeals to the Filipino people his moral achievements. This I assume is his battlecry. No one among the candidates would measure up to him in terms of the “three Cs: competence, character and courage”. For him, the solution to our national predicament is a “righteous (that is, morally) leader.”- sisyphus

Before he became a pastor and evangelist, he was an activist, leftist adn aethiest. He was fighting for the welfare of the poor, the fishermen, farmers and people who were maltreated by the government. There were massive extra judicial killings during that time. He took up Law at the University of the Philippines but wasn't able to finish it because the Marcos regime incarcerated him twice because of his ideologies and being an activist. When released, he became a professor of economics at PUP for many years. This only proves that he has a vast knowledge of the political, social and governmental status of this country. As a leader, he has proven himself by leading an estimated 5 million JIL members all around the globe which started from only 15 young people way back in the late 1970's at PUP. Running JIl is far from running the Philippines, I would agree on that, but nevertheless we can’t discount the fact that he is capable of leading people.

Before choosing a candidate, know them all..don't discriminate, because the information you know might be a superficial identity that presidentiable is trying to portray.. check their backgrounds, achievements and try to discern if they really mean what they are saying. As I always say to my friends, remove their labels, Bro. Eddie being a pastor, Noynoy being a son of great filipino people, Gibo being PGMA's bet, Fernando as the MMDA chairman, Gordon as a senator, JC's young age and Perlas as a multi-profession candidate. Kilalanin nating silang lahat..and from there, let's decide as we envision a bright and prosperous Philippines..

i can't organize my thoughts, hindi tlga ako blogger material..haha!anyway, if you have questions feel free to ask me and i'll try to answer it..hehe
